ravex (レイベックス reibekkusu) new album “trax”

yup, banyak pasti yang ga tau sama grup elektronik dari jepang yang satu ini..

namanya “ravex”, dan terbentuk bertepatan dengan ulang tahun ke 20 label rekaman avex..
beranggotakan :

2.tomoyuki tanaka [fantastic plastic machine]

3.taku takahashi [m-flo]

grup musik yang mengusung aliran house musik dengan irama berbeat tinggi dan cepat serta permainan synthesizer, midi controller, serta sound-sound yang futuristik yang akan menimbulkan musik segar dan membuat badan serta kepala bergoyang 😛

disamping itu, ravex juga melakukan kolaborasi dengan beberapa artis jepang yang tak asing lagi; seperti boa, dj ozma, monkey majik, m-flo, dan lainnya..

album perdana mereka dirilis pada 29 april 2009 yang berisikan 12 track dimana ravex turut mengaransemen ke-11 track dan 1 track lainnya dikerjakan oleh “takeshi komuro”.

dashboard confessional – alter the ending

Alter the Ending is the sixth studio album recorded by American rock band Dashboard Confessional, released through Interscope Records on November 10, 2009. The album was released in both a one disc standard version and a two disc deluxe edition which contains a second disc of acoustic versions of the 12 songs on the album. The album’s first single is “Belle of the Boulevard”.

Alter the Ending received generally favorable reviews from critics, with some saying the album showed great maturity and others alluding to overproduction and its limitations.

paramore new album “brand new eyes”

Official working title and tracklisting for Paramore’s forthcoming third studio album have finally been shared. It is confirmed that the record is called “Brand New Eyes” and set to arrive across America on September 29.

Paramore have included eleven new songs on the album’s tracklisting. Among them, the band reportedly have chosen a song titled “Ignorance” as its lead single, and will drop it for purchase on July 7. Prior to the release day, they have showcased the song at MTV Unplugged on June 25.

Another new material that Paramore have played during the MTV acoustic show was “Brick by Boring Brick”. In addition, they also performed songs from their “Riot!” effort, “That’s What You Get” and “Misery Business”, as well as “Twilight” soundtrack, “Decode”.

Paramore are currently on the road, serving as an opening act for reunited band No Doubt. They will continue opening for the Gwen Stefani-fronted band through August 12. Most recently, Hayley Williams, Josh Farro, Jeremy Davis and Zac Farro added Taylor York, a touring member of Paramore for over 2 years, as the band’s official rhythm guitarist.

Tika and The dissidents

who is she???

Kartika Jahja, or TIKA as she is known, is a solo singer who choses a different path than most Indonesian so-called divas. Having gone thru a colorful musical evolution, where she sang for Jazz bands, Electronic and even Punk bands, TIKA finally decides to stick with whatever flows out of her soul. “Paint the picture first, think of the frame later.” is what she said “I’m just trying to capture whatever comes out before it washes away and then think about genre, marketing and all that after.” Some call it trip hop, some thinks its jazzy, and a few have baptized it as being noir music in comparison to noir films. yup, setelah baca, denger dari temen dan liat dari beberapa review di majalah, akirnya saya tertarik juga untuk membeli cd terbaru dari Tika..

hmm klo ga salah pernah baca pada sebuah artikel kalau band ini emang kurang banget terkenal di Indonesia, tapi lebih populer di negara orang, cuman lupa negara mana aja dan lagunya untuk proyek apa..

hmm, ga jauh beda sie ama grup “mocca”, walaupun namanya udah cukup terkenal sekarang, tapi “mocca” lebih ngetop duluan di korea ato jepang gitu,maap lupa :(, yup sebagai soundtrack iklan klo ga sala..

oh ia, packaging album ini bener” unik, menggabungkan antara kesenangan untuk menulis dan mendengar..

yup, jika beli cdnya yang asli (yah lebih bagus asli lah daripada bajakan,heheheh) bakal dapetin sarung cd dari kain bermotif kotak” serta memo yang halaman depannya berisi list serta lirik lagu dan halaman belakangnya dapat dipergunakan untuk memo..

oh ia, ini di copas dari official group mereka dari fb..

sejarah terpilihnya kotak” jadi bagian dari cover album..

Sementara itu, barisan perlawanan Kotak-kotak -yang terdiri dari lini merah, lini biru, lini kuning dan lini hijau- berhasil merangsek masuk ke dalam pertahanan Tika and the Dissidents dan melakukan persuasi damai yang membuahkan sebuah kesepakatan
Pernyataan resmi ini dikeluarkan oleh Tika & the Dissidents, Selasa 14 Oktober 09. “Mulai hari ini, Kotak-kotak akan menjadi motif resmi untuk dompet pembungkus album ‘The Headless Songstress’. Sementara motif floral yang masih beredar di pasaran tak akan ditarik dari peredaran sebagai pilihan bagi pembeli yang masih menginginkan motif floral.”
Sementara pihak motif floral sendiri menyatakan tidak keberatan menerima keputusan ini sebab mereka pun percaya bahwa perubahan itu perlu untuk menghindari kebosanan dan kekuasaan absolut.
